Viewing Iterations

You can view the iterations of a representation (for example, a 3D shape, a drawing, or a 3D part).

Iterations are automatically created every time the representation is saved in a native app.

  1. Select a representation and click the command.
The Iterations dialog box appears, with the number of available iterations at the top, and the iterations displayed on a line at the bottom. The iterations are numbered from the most recent to the oldest, and the list is refreshed every time you select a new representation.
  2. Optional: If you selected a 3D part or 3D shape, a preview of the iterations is displayed. To modify the display of the preview, right-click the background and select an ambience.
  3. Optional: To switch between views, click one of the following commands from the toolbar:
    • Sequential View : The iterations are displayed as successive sequences of equal size on the iteration line.
    • Timeline View : The iterations are displayed as successive sequences of different sizes on the iteration line, depending on their duration.
  4. To navigate between iterations, hover over the iteration line, and click the iteration of your choice.
