About Collaborative Review

Co-Review allows you to review your designs with other users in a collaborative session.

You can collaborate one-to-one with another user or one-to-many with several other users.

At any time during the collaborative session, the review lead can be taken by any one of the collaborative session members. In this way, all members of the session can provide input into the design of the product.

In a typical collaborative review scenario two designers, A and B, are working together on the design of a product:

  • The two designers set up a collaborative session. One is the review leader, the other is the review observer.
  • Both designers open the same root product.
  • Any modifications made by the review leader are automatically shared with the review observer; navigating, annotating, zooming and designing are synchronously replicated in the observer's remote session.
Note: The table in Availability of Commands and Actions in Co-Review lists how the commands and actions of the leader are replicated in the observer's session.

During a session, Co-Review allows all members of the session to communicate and discuss their work.

If leader and observer sessions do not share the same content, notifications are sent to all members of the session.

For instructions on how to set up a collaborative session and use Co-Review, see 3DEXPERIENCE Native Apps: Using Co-Review.
