Design Methods

You can compose your design in Natural Assembly from products you select in the clipboard, the Search Results panel, or the work area.

The following table describes what happens when you switch to Natural Assembly (from the Compass, select 3D Modeling Apps , and then select Natural Assembly).

If absolute position information is available for a product, the product keeps the position it had with respect to the root in the original context from which it was copied.

The clipboardNo selectionCreates a new product in a new tab and automatically selects all clipboard products provided that the design range of these products is compatible with the default design range of the new product.

You can specify the default design range for new products in Me > Preferences > Parameters and Measure > Design Limits.
