Filtering Annotations

3D Annotation Filter lets you filter the annotation sets, annotation views, and annotations. You can filter annotations by semantic criteria (feature type and form), by numeric criteria (value), or by a combination of both.


Before you begin: Open a product containing a 3D shape with annotations and click anywhere in the work area to ensure that no annotation is selected.
  1. Under Annotation Sets, select either of the below options:
    • All: Displays all the annotation sets.
    • Custom: Lets you filter the required annotation sets and display the selected.
    • None: Displays no annotation set.
  2. Under Annotation Views, select either of the below options:
    • All: Displays all the annotation views.
    • Custom: Lets you filter the required annotation views and capture, and display the selected.
  3. Under Annotations, select either of the below options:
    • All: Displays all the annotations.
    • Of Type: Lets you filter the required annotations based on their types and display the selected.
    • Custom: Lets you filter the required annotations and display the selected.

    You can select the Only Default Annotations check box to display only default annotations.

    You can also specify the required values to filter the annotations within specified the range.
