Applying Blanking on Annotations and Dimensions

You can apply blanking on text annotations including annotations and dimensions to improve readability.


Before you begin: Open a 3D shape containing annotations.
  1. From the View section of the action bar, click Annotation Blanking .
    All annotations are blanked.
  2. Optional: Right-click the text annotation and select Properties.
    1. In the Properties dialog box, click the Display tab.
    2. To make the annotation parallel to screen, select the Parallel to screen check box.
    3. Optional: To make the annotation zoomable, select the Zoomable check box.
    The annotation is made parallel to screen and zoomable.
  3. Right-click a text annotation and select Properties.
    1. In the Properties dialog box, click the Text tab.
    2. Specify the Blank Background to (No).

      Note: By default, in the Blank Background list, Area Fill is selected.

    The blanking effect is removed and annotations are displayed without blank background.
