Displaying Captures

You can display 3D Tolerancing & Annotation captures contained in a 3D XML document.

About Captures
  1. Click anywhere in the work area to ensure that no annotation is selected.
  2. Right-click the TopView node of the capture in the tree and select Display Capture.
    • The 3D annotations of the capture are shown and others are hidden.
    • The capture camera is applied.
    • Remove FTA Clipping Plane is selected .
      Important:
      • Remove FTA Clipping Plane is selected if a clipping plane has been defined during the capture creation.
      • While displaying a capture, the display area is automatically reframed to the area captured during the capture creation. To capture the view display area in the 3D Tolerancing & Annotation app, see 3D Tolerancing & Annotation User's Guide: View/Annotation Planes: Capturing the Display Area.
  3. Deselect the Remove FTA Clipping Plane

    Only the clipping plane display is removed. To switch back to the initial display, display the capture again.

  4. Right-click the FrontView node of the capture in the tree and select Display Capture.

    Another capture with its content is displayed.
