Baseline Approval Properties

The properties of objects associated with the baseline approval are listed below.

By default, the page is refreshed when you promote the DMR baseline from the header of the Properties page. But if the DMR baseline is promoted from the Lifecycle page, the Properties page does not refresh, you need to use the Refresh option from the page to refresh it.

If the Status icon is not displayed before the name of a DMR baseline, it indicates that the background job is completed and the DMR content is updated with the latest data.

To view a baseline approval:

  1. Search for and open a part.
  2. Select the Device Master Record category.
  3. Select the Baselines tab.
  4. Click the name of the approval in the Approvals tab.

Fields

Field Name Description
Name Name of the baseline approval. This column contains highlighted links. Click to go to the Properties.

The Status icon is displayed with the details before the name of the baseline approval according to the background job:

  • Running: When you promote a DMR baseline from the In Work to the In Approval state, the background job is created to check-in the data. The icon for Running status is displayed before the name of a DMR baseline until the background job is completed.
  • Failed: The icon for Failed status is displayed before the name of a DMR baseline if the background job is completed with some errors. When you hover over the icon, the details of errors are displayed.
  • Successful: When the background job is completed without any errors, the specific icon is not displayed before the name of a DMR baseline.

Type The type of object.
Revision The revision of the baseline object.
State The state of the object in its lifecycle.
Title The title given to the DMR baseline when it was created.
Description Details or information describing the baseline.
Approved Date The date the baseline was approved (or blank if not approved).
Configuration The configuration, which is selected for the baseline. Whether it is Both, EBOM, or MBOM.
Plant The plant of the baseline.

You can perform the following actions if the DMR baseline is in the In Work and In Approval states.
