3D Tolerancing & Annotation captures contained in a 3DXML document can be displayed.

When displaying a capture, all elements are hidden except for the following elements stored in the capture with a show status:

  • 3D Tolerancing & Annotation annotations
  • Product instances
  • Representation instances
  • Geometrical sets and bodies
  • The associated view/annotation plane or aligned section view/section cut, or offset section view/section cut

The following parameters are applied within the capture:

  • The clipping plane status for the associated view/annotation planes.
  • The camera orientation associated with the capture.

It is possible to export assembly annotation set captures from V5 to a 3DXML document. These assembly annotation sets can manage visibility of part instances as defined in V5. You can review this 3DXML document on 3DEXPERIENCE platform in the 3D Annotation Insight app.

The captures under favorite context can manage the display status (hide or show) of the products and the 3D shapes which are immediately under that favorite context. To do so, in the tree, you can right-click the required capture, select capture definition, and then change the hide or show status of the required feature listed in the Edit Filter panel. Alternatively, you can double-click the required capture to open the Edit Filter panel. For more information about favorite context, see 3D Tolerancing & Annotation User's Guide: Favorite Context.

You can also select the required features from the tree to add them in the Edit Filter panel and to manage their display status.
