You can determine whether the annotation sets are displayed in the 3D area using the Show in
3D/Hide in 3D contextual commands.
Additionally, selecting a 3D shape by clicking geometry displays a context toolbar providing the Disables the display of
selected elements/Enables the display of selected
elements commands. Activating this command hides or shows the annotation
set of the selected 3D shape.

documents generated from the following releases:
All CATIA V5 releases since R17 SP5.
All CATIA V6 releases.
Before you begin: Open a product containing a 3D shape with
annotations.
Click anywhere in the work area to ensure that no annotation is selected.
The annotations are no longer selected.
Select the annotation set in the tree.
A context toolbar appears.
Click Disables the display of selected elements
.
All the annotations are hidden in the 3D area and an additional yellow mask is added to
the tree icon representing this annotation set.
Tip:
You can also right-click the annotation set in the tree, and select Hide in
3D.
Select the annotation set in the tree again, and click Enables the
display of selected elements
.
All annotations in are shown in the 3D.

3D.
