Moving Objects to Another Collaborative Space or Organization

The Move command lets you move objects to another collaborative space and organization, including products, folders, and documents.

You can also change the owner of the selected objects during the operation.

Important:
  • Only the selected revision is moved.
  • When Folder Content is checked, only the first level of propagation is done on the selected object.

Before you begin:
  • Unlock the objects you want to move.
  • You must have ownership rights for the objects you intend to move.
  1. In the tree on the left, select the objects you want to move and click the command.
  2. Search for the user that will be the owner of the selected objects in the target collaborative space and organization with the Identifier, Last Name, and First Name search fields.
  3. Click Search .
  4. Select the user in the collaborative space and organization you want to move the objects to, and click OK.
  5. Click OK.
    A message lists all the objects that were successfully moved.
