CDRL Submittal Lifecycle

The CDRL Submittal policy defines the lifecycle states for a CDRL Submittal.

The CDRL Submittal lifecycle includes these states:

This page discusses:

Preliminary

The CDRL Submittal is created from a CDRL or a NonContract DRL. In this state, the Data Manager or the owner of the submittal adds the reference document and the deliverables to the submittal. If the Cover Letter Documents Required check box was selected at DRL creation, then the Submittal Letter Number and Submittal Letter Date on the Transmit Submittal form are required to promote the submittal to the Transmitted state. If the Cover Letter Documents Required check box was not selected, then the required attributes for promotion will be optional. After completing the Transmit Submittal form, the submittal is promoted to the Transmitted state.

Transmitted

The submittal can be dispositioned after being transmitted. If the Complete Disposition and Promote check box on the Disposition Transmittal form is selected, the submittal will automatically be promoted to the Dispositioned state. If the Complete Disposition and Promote check box is not selected, then attributes may be required for promotion. If the Cover Letter Documents Required check box was selected at DRL creation, then the Customer Reply Letter Number is required to promote the submittal to the Dispositioned state. If the attribute was not selected, then the required attributes for promotion will become optional.

Dispositioned

The submittal is dispositioned. The Data Manager or the owner of the submittal can promoted the submittal to the Closed state.

Closed
