Controlled Production Release Rev2 Lifecycle

The Controlled Production Release Rev2 policy governs Generic Documents. The Generic Document business type is used to store files and metadata information.

Create

The document is planned, created, and then promoted to the WIP stage.

WIP

The document is a "work in progress" when a file has been checked into the Document object. Only the author can promote the document to Review.

Review

The document is ready for review. The reviewer must sign off on the document before promoting it to Released.

Released

The document has been approved and released and cannot be changed.

Obsolete

The document is no longer used.
