IP Security Class Lifecycle

The IP Security Class lifecycle defines the process for classifications for security classes.

Inactive

Security classes are created in the Inactive state. The security rules and classified items are connected and validated in the Inactive state. The Leader promotes the class to the Active state.

Active

The security class is available, and remains in this state as long as it is in use. The Leader promotes the security class to the Archived state when it is no longer used.

Archived

Activity is complete and the security class is no longer available.
