Sales Order Lifecycle

The Sales Order policy defines the lifecycle states of a sales order.

Created

Sales orders are created in the Created state by the Administrator, Leader, or Contracts Manager. The connected work authorizations must be in Anticipated state before you can promote the sales order to Anticipated state.

Anticipated

The Leader or the Contracts Manager can promote the sales order to the Authorized state. The connected work authorizations must be in Authorized state before you can promote the sales order to Authorized state.

Authorized

The Leader or the Contracts Manager can promote the sales order to the Closed state.

Closed

The sales order is complete and no longer available.
