Shippers Export Declaration Lifecycle

The Shippers Export Declaration policy defines the lifecycle state of an SED. The Leaderpromotes or demote an SED.

Initiation

A SED is created in the Initiation state.

Transmit

In the Transmit state, the declaration is sent to the government export control office.

Disposition

In the Disposition state, the approval or rejection is received from the government office.

Active

The SED is available. The Leader promotes the SED to the Inactive state when it is no longer used.

Inactive

The Leader promotes the SED to the Closed state when it is no longer used.

Closed

The SED is no longer available.
