Working with Area Fill Boolean Operations

Area Fill Addition or Area Fill Subtraction let you add or subtract two isolated area fills.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Open a layout containing two or more area fills.

Perform Boolean Operations

  1. From the Annotation section of the action bar, click Area Fill Addition or Area Fill Subtraction .



  2. Select the first area fill.

  3. Select the second area fill.

    Notes:
    • The properties of the first selected area fill are applied to the resulting area fill.
    • The resulting area fill can be modified. Right-click the area fill and select Area Fill Modification. Modify the area fill using the handles.
