Creating a Legend Table

Legend Table lets you create a legend table recapping the representation and count of the labels located in the currently edited layout.


Before you begin:
  • Create a layout representation containing views.
  • Create one or more labels.
  1. Instantiate one or more labels in the layout views.
  2. Create a legend for each label instantiated in a view.

    Tip: To create a legend, right-click the label and select Label.x object > Legend.

  3. Click Legend Table .
  4. Select elements to define or redefine the scope of the legend table.
    • If no selection is made, the legend table is created for all the layouts.
    • If you select a sheet view, the legend table is created for the selected layout.
  5. In the Legend Table dialog box, under Title, enter a title in the Table box.
  6. Under Count, select the Add Total Count check box.
  7. To add a column for each view for the selected scope, select the Add Count per View check box.
  8. Select the Consider attachments check box.
  9. Under Format, select a Table Style.
  10. To position the table, select a reference element (a line or a table) to indicate the table anchor point or click in the sheet.
