Creating a View From a 3D Plane, Face, or Sketch

Select the required option from the Tools Palette:
Option Description
Auxiliary View Creates an auxiliary view
Section View Creates a section view
Section Cut Creates a section cut
Axonometric View Creates an axonometric view
Select a plane from the tree or from the 3D area (the xy plane, for example).
Click at the required location in the sheet to position the view.

Important:
When you select several planes, the View Creation dialog box appears for each selected plane.
In the View Creation dialog box, enter the required parameters.
Optional: Select the Isolated check box to create an isolated view.
Optional: Select the Reverse view direction check box to reverse the view direction.
Note: You can also isolate or reverse the view direction while changing the view support.
