Creating Centered Parallelograms

You can create the parallelogram, if you know its center.

  1. Optional: Select the Create Detected Constraints from the Sketch section and the Show Constraints from the View section of the action bar.

    Performing this step results into a centered parallelogram with two parallelism constraints as long as two symmetrical constraints which are based on the two selected lines

  2. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Centered Parallelogram .
  3. Select a line or an axis.
  4. Select another line or an axis.
  5. Move the pointer to specify the dimensions.
    The parallelogram is created. It is centered on the intersection point of the two lines. Its edges are parallel to the selected lines.
