Inserting Images (Raster or Vector)

You can insert a picture in a 2D layout representation.

Before you begin: Open a 2D layout representation containing a sheet and a view.

Editing Raster Images
  1. From the Annotation section of the action bar, click Insert Picture .
  2. In the Insert picture dialog box, browse to select an image file.
  3. Click Open.
  4. Click in the sheet to position your picture.
    The picture is imported in the active view.

  5. Click the picture to select it.
    Rotation and scaling handles appear.

  6. Optional: Drag the handles to modify the picture size, and/or drag the picture to the required position.
