Multi-Discipline Drafting Parameters

Multi-Discipline Drafting parameters are located under the Multi-Discipline Drafting node of the generative view style XML file (available through Me > Preferences > Standards > generativeparameters category > DefaultGenerativeStyle.xml).

Structure Objects

Parameter name Value Description
Panel > Seam Line > Draw Yes/No Specifies whether the seam line must be drawn or not.

By default, Yes is selected.
Stiffener on Free Edge > Default Representation > Top View Projection/CutByPrimary Specifies the cut result for the face plate.

By default, Projection is selected.

Notes:
  • The offset line can be generated through Structure GVS attribute, only when the attribute is set to Yes.

    You can edit this attribute through generativeparameters\Structure\StructureObjects\StiffenerOnFreeEdge\ViewType\TopView\FlangeOrientationSymbol\Draw.

  • An offset line is drawn only for the face plate.

    A face plate is a stiffener on the free edge that is created by selecting a limit of support panel or an opening on the support panel without any offset.

Notes:
  • These GVS parameters work only for a Structure Functional Design (SFD) model (Basic Design) and only through a structural view.
  • Structure GVS parameters are required to generate the structural view.
