You can change the support of
a section view, a section cut, an auxiliary view or an axonometric view.
Important:
You cannot change the support of projection
views, views from 3D 3D Tolerancing & Annotation or filtered views from 3D Tolerancing & Annotation captures.
Before you begin: Open a 3D shape representation containing a layout and a section view, section cut or auxiliary view.
Right-click
the view frame and select
Change View
Support.
The Change View Support dialog box appears.
In the tree, select a view.
The name of the selected view is displayed in the
Reference box.
Select the Isolated check box to isolate the view.
Optional: Select the Reverse view direction check box.
The direction of the view is reversed.
Click OK.
The support of the layout is modified. In the tree, a red lighting symbol on the view node indicates that the view is no longer associative.
Important:
When changing the support of a view, or creating a view on a given
support, the new view origin point is superposed with the support origin
point.
When changing the support of a view to an assembly support, you
cannot select a 3D Tolerancing & Annotation capture
which is located outside the 3D shape.
To display the Change View Support dialog box, right-click a multi-plane section view in the tree and select Change View Support. You cannot change the view support if you right click any sub-views in the 3D area.
