Listing Extended Members

Extended members in Project and DHF Management are project members who have multiple extended project roles. You can assign multiple project roles to a single member on this page.


Before you begin: View the Dashboard for the project.
  1. From the navigation pane for a project, click Members.
  2. Click the Extended Members tab.

    For each extended member already added to the project, the page shows:

    Name. The person's last name and first name or the name of the group or role. You can see the profile information for persons by clicking their name. Members with Project Owner or Project Lead access have the icon to the left of the name and members with all other access levels have the icon.

    Organization. Shows the company person members belong to.

    Project Roles. Indicates one or more extended roles the person has for the project. The available extended roles are set up by the host company.

    A project member can be assigned to one or more of these roles, represented by column entries: Clinical, Core Team Member, Design Engineer, Finance, Financial Reviewer, Idea Champion, Marketing, Medical, NDB, Operations, Operations Sponsor, Program Manager, Project Assessor, Project Lead, Quality, Quality Sponsor, R&D, R&D Sponsor, Regulatory, Service, and Technical Services.

  3. Search for and filter members by using on the toolbar.
  4. Click "Enable Edit" to assign or unassign roles for a member. While editing you can use the Mass Update field to assign roles to multiple or all members.
    Note: Core project roles assigned to project members are not editable on this page.
    Note: When a person is removed from the Project Member list, the person's corresponding "Extended Member" relationships will also be disconnected.
