type as nonconformance or its subtype. When you select the subtype, the custom
attributes that are added to the selected subtype are listed in the Custom
Attributes section of the page. Note:
You can create a subtype for the context

NC Type |
Select the type of nonconformance detected. |
Severity
|
Select a severity. You can select Urgent, High, Medium, or
Low. |
Functional Area |
Select the functional area in the location or site where the
nonconformance was detected. You can select Manufacturing, Field, Lab,
Warehouse, or Shipping. |
Process
|
The process during which the nonconformance was detected.
You can select Product Scrap, Reposing, Isolation, or Product
Realization. |
Impacted
Items |
Click and from the
Search Results page that appears, select an impacted
item. Note:
By default, the impacted items are selected from the
context issue If you are creating a NC from the selected issue.

Defect Type |
Select a defect type. You can select External or
Internal. |
Site Found
|
Click and from the
Search Results page that appears, select the site or
location where the nonconformance was detected. |
Name |
Click and from the
Search Results page that appears, select the supplier
that provided the material for the product. |
Lot Number |
Type the lot code assigned to the supplier for the
material. |
Site
|
Select the site of the supplier that provided the material
for the product. |
Custom Attributes |
Type the additional information for the custom attributes
that are selected as subtype of the nonconformance. |
