Configuring Product Expansion

You can configure the desired types and corresponding relationship navigation for the expansion of a product.

  1. Create or open the text file for customized properties. For more information, see Editing Properties Using MQL.
  2. To specify the desired types and corresponding relationship navigation for the expansion of a product, follow these steps:
    1. Add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object: 

      GLR.Product.ExpandConfiguration=relationship_AssignedPart|from|type_Part|yes,relationship_GBOM|from|type_Part|yes,
relationship_ProductConfiguration|from|type_ProductConfiguration|no,relationship_TopLevelPart|from|type_Part|yes

    2. Set the value for this property depending on your business requirements:

      • Comma separated values
      • The format of the value is <symbolic_RelName|relDirection|symbolic_TypeName|typeTobeIncludedInFinalResult>.

  3. When finished updating the text file with all properties you want to modify, including the ones shown here, use the text file to modify the Regulatory.properties page object. For more information, see Editing Properties Using MQL.
