Known Issue

You might face a TDR timeout on Windows because a higher capacity on the GPU is required. To prevent this, you need to create two DWORD registry entries to adjust the length of time.

Proceed in the following order:

  • In the Registry Editor, right-click then select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
  • In the Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value dialog box, enter TdrLevel in the Value name box, enter 3 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
  • Right-click then select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value again.
  • In the Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value dialog box, enter TdrDelay in the Value name box, enter 10 in the Value data box (the default is 2), and then click OK.
    Note: The value represents seconds and you might need to enter a value higher than 10 depending on the GPU and the data size.
