Apply Textures
You can apply textures to materials.

Access the Appearance Domain dialog box by doing one of the
following:
- In the tree, expand the Materials node, and then double-click the material appearance .
- In the tree, right-click and then select xxx object > Definition....
- From the top bar, enter your search criteria for the material in the Search box, and then click . In the Material Browser, click next to the material to display the context menu, and then click Appearance.
- Click Texture Chooser .

To apply one or more textures on a specific material parameter, do one of the
following:
- Select one or more textures in the Texture Area and then select the Channel Area thumbnail on which you want to apply them.
- Drag one or more textures from the Texture Area to the Channel Area thumbnail on which you want to apply the textures.
The textures are connected to the parameters and appear in the corresponding thumbnails. - To visualize the textures on your material, click Apply.
- To close the Texture Chooser, click OK.
Tips: - To go back to the original state or to the last texture application, click Cancel or .
- When the Texture Chooser is open, all widgets that impact material textures are locked in the Appearance Domain dialog box.
- You can apply the same texture to different parameters.
- You can drag textures only in Material Definition, Rendering Scene Design, and Live Rendering.
