Drawing Simple Geometry

The Draw command lets you draw simple geometry. The default setting is Draw on Grid, however, you can also choose Draw in 3D.

As its name implies, Close Profile creates a shape with a closed profile.
  2. Click Open Profile to make a line appear and draw an open shape. Move the mouse in any desired direction along the X, Y, or Z axes and left-click to lock in the shape.
  3. Click Arc to draw an arc. Move the mouse along the X, Y, or Z axes in any direction to bend the points, left-clicking as you create a shape.

There are two types of arcs to choose from: Tangent Arc and Three-Point Arc .

  4. Click Spline to draw a spline shape.
  5. Click Point to mark a point.
The point appears as a small x.

Note: For each of the above operations, in order to discontinue the drawing, double left-click the mouse when you have attained the desired shape.
