About Knowledge Parameters and Formula

Knowledge parameters and formula embed knowledge in design. You can use 3D driving dimensions (created between entities in the same natural shape feature or between a natural shape and an external app feature) and equations in knowledge parameters and formula. To do so, right-click the driving dimension or equation and select Publish Associated Parameter.

Once published, parameters are visible in the tree and the knowledge icon, , appears alongside the graphical representation of the dimension or equation in the 3D area. You can edit published parameters directly in the Edit Parameter panel.

Published parameters are also available in the Formula panel where they can be used in formulas.
