Shelling a Shape
You can shell a solid shape to create a thin-walled shape of uniform thickness.

Select the face you want to shell and click
Shell
in the selection bar or in the
action bar
.
Use the manipulator to modify the face thickness.
Note:
You can enter the thickness value in the Selection panel as well.
in the selection bar or in the
action bar.
