Duplicating Geometry

You can create a copy of a selected geometry.

Note: This command is available for sets of elements.

Before you begin: You must have created a Natural Shape feature.

  1. Select the geometry you want to duplicate.
  2. From the Shapes section of the action bar, click Duplicate .
  3. Use the Robot to modify the position of the translated feature. Alternatively, you can enter a value in the Translate section of the Selection panel.
  4. Use the Robot to rotate the created geometry. Alternatively, you can enter a value in the Rotate section of the Selection panel.
    Note: You can also select the rotation plane selecting U, V or W.
  5. Use the picker in the Duplicate options frame to select a new orientation in the geometry.
