Importing Markup Data

Import Markup Data lets you reuse markup content by importing the content of a product markup which belongs to a sub-product, into an active markup of a higher level.

You can also import the content of a product markup to a review markup or the content of a review markup to another review markup.

You can import slides, marker annotations and 2D marker annotations, measures, and sections.

  1. To import the content of a product markup available under a sub-product, to a product markup available under the root product:
    1. Activate the product level.
    2. Switch to Design Review and set the product markup of the root product as current.
    3. Click Import Markup Data and select the product markup whose data is to be imported.
  2. To import the content of a product markup to a review markup:
    1. Activate the review markup.
    2. Click Import Markup Data and select the product markup whose data is to be imported.

      Note: You can also import the content of another review markup to the active markup.
