Manage Unique Keys: Activating Unique Keys

After creating your unique key, you must activate it so that it is taken into account by the system.

Note: To create a unique key, see Administrate Data Model: Creating and Editing a Unique Key.


Before you begin: You must have created an extension.
  1. From the Compass, click Social and Collaborative Apps , Data Model Customization, and select Manage Packages.
  2. Click Manage Unique Keys .
  3. In the Activation column, set the Activation status to TRUE for the key you want to activate.

    The following table provides you with information about the key status:

    FALSE: The key is disabled (not changed recently).
    FALSE: The key is disabled. The status has been set to TRUE. Click Submit to modify the status. The color turns dark green.
    TRUE: The key is enabled (not changed recently).
    TRUE: The key is enabled. The status has been set to FALSE. Click Submit to modify the status. The color turns dark red.

  4. Click Submit.
