Calibration Algorithms and Parameter Sensitivity

Material calibration relies on numerical minimization algorithms that can minimize the errors between the test data and the computed material response.

Material calibration is performed by minimizing an objective function that measures the errors between the test data and the predicted material response. The app constructs the objective function using the user-selected error measure, the test data sets selected for calibration, and the assigned weights. You can assign per-test data weights as well as point-wise weights. During the calibration procedure, the app minimizes the objective function using the selected minimization algorithm.
