Repairing Test Data

You can clean up a set of test data before calibration by repairing it to reduce noise.

About Test Data Processing
  1. From the Calibration Tools section of the action bar, click Calibration Setup .
  2. From the Test data sets section of the Calibration setup dialog box, double-click the name of the test data feature you want to edit.
  3. Click Repair.
    The Repair options appear above the test data plot.
  4. In the Min time increment field, specify the minimum time increment.

    The app provides the minimum, maximum, and mean time increments for reference.

  5. Click Evaluate.
    The app indicates the points that are marked for removal by selecting the check boxes for their rows in the Data table and by coloring them red in the plot. The number of points to be removed is also displayed near the top of the dialog box.
    Important: Performing an evaluation always replaces the previous result.
  6. Optional: Add (or remove) points from the preview by doing either of the following:
    • Click the check box in the corresponding row of the table.
    • Right-click on a point in the chart, and choose Include/Exclude selection.
  7. Click .

    Tip: You can also cancel the repair without making any changes by clicking .

The app removes the points from the test data set and reflects the updated data set in the Test Data dialog box.
