Access Materials

You can use the Material Browser to access materials.

Before you begin: In Me > Preferences > Infrastructure > Material Definition > Material Browser, set the options of the Material Browser. See Interface.
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Material Browser .
  2. In the 6WTags panel, expand a tag and then select a category.

    The results appear according to the selected tag and category.

  3. To display the full name of a material and its properties, select the material.
    Notes:
    • The name of a material corresponds to the name specified in the attributes. It can be different from the name specified when creating a material. See Native Apps Preferences Guide: Content Access: Attributes.
    • You can choose the order of materials loaded in session with the Sort feature.
    • You can also access materials from the Search Results panel, when you launch a search.
