Replace Materials

You can select applied materials in session from the Material Browser and replace them with other materials in session.

Before you begin: In Me > Preferences > Infrastructure > Material Definition > Material Browser, set the options of the Material Browser. See Interface.
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Material Browser .
  2. In the Material Browser menu, select the downward facing arrow at the top of the menu and then click Select all and Replace.
  3. Select the new material from one of the following:
    • The Material Browser
    • The tree
    • The Search Results panel
    • A product opened in another window

The new material is applied and appears in the tree.

Notes:
  • All materials in all opened windows are replaced.
  • A core material can only be replaced by another core material and a covering material by a covering one.
