Configuring IMDS Organization Unit IDs for Automobile Companies

You can configure how organization units for automobile companies are identified. These units are used for customer part information that is uploaded to IMDS. Automobile companies with defined org units in Materials Compliance Management include Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, Fiat, Renault, and Nissan.

  1. Create or open the text file to contain customized properties. For more information, see Editing Properties Using MQL.
  2. To identify org units for Ford, add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object: 

    emxMaterialsComplianceCentral.IMDS.Ford.orgIds

    The default org unit IDs are:

    • 102,26454

  3. To identify org units for Daimler-Chrysler, add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object: 

    emxMaterialsComplianceCentral.IMDS.Daimler.orgIds

    The default org unit IDs are:

    • 101,8132,8133,8134,8293,8294,8295,8296,8297,8299,8302,11274,12538,12591,15423,30643,45813,48846,48847,48848,51580,53053,57650,72763,82573,89408

  4. To identify org units for Fiat, add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object: 

    emxMaterialsComplianceCentral.IMDS.Fiat.orgIds

    The default org unit IDs are:

    • 1316,53461

  5. To identify org units for Renault, add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object: 

    emxMaterialsComplianceCentral.IMDS.Renault.orgIds

    The default org unit ID is:

    • 10753

  6. To identify org units for Nissan, add or edit this line in the file used to import properties into a page object: 

    emxMaterialsComplianceCentral.IMDS.Nissan.orgIds

    The default org unit IDs are:

    • 13989,13662,55883,13820,31081,13822,13821,53918

  7. When finished updating the text file with all properties you want to modify, including the ones shown here, use the text file to modify the emxMaterialsComplianceCentral.properties page object. For more information, see Editing Properties Using MQL.
