Generating the Best/Worst Case Analysis Report

The Best/Worst Case Analysis report displays the BOM of a selected enterprise part including attributes and compliance of each part in the BOM and its equivalents. The compliance value is based on the selected Compliance Definitions, Substances, or Substance Classifications.

An equivalent of a part could be the enterprise "make" version of the part (meaning the enterprise parts and materials directly associated with the part) or an outsourced "buy" version which is one of the MEPs associated with the part as an equivalent. The report also indicates with radio buttons which equivalent is the Selected Equivalent for each part. The Selected Equivalent is the equivalent used for reporting purposes. Using actions provided with this report, a compliance engineer can change the Selected Equivalent for parts in the BOM.
