Generating the REACH Analysis Report

The REACH Analysis report determines whether product BOM contains any REACH Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) above the allowed REACH threshold. If so, the report shows the amount of REACH SVHC substances found including the amount imported into the European Union based on number of units of the product imported.

The threshold level is applied from the selected compliance definition.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Author, Leader
  • App-specific: Compliance Engineer, Senior Compliance Engineer

Use the Compliance menu to access this report. You can find this menu on the toolbar of any of these pages:

  • Properties page for a part
  • Compliance View page for a part
  • Equivalents category for a part
  • Compliance Portfolio app category for Materials Compliance Management
  • Bill Of Materials for the part

  1. Click Compliance > Reports > REACH > REACH SVHC.
  2. Select options for generating the report.

    Field NameDescription
    Compliance DefinitionThe compliance definition to be included in the summary information.
    • All thresholds defined in this compliance definition are treated as part level thresholds (this can be changed by your system administrator if necessary).
    • The report works with thresholds defined for specific substances or for substance classifications.
    Weight Unit of MeasureThe unit of measure used for the weight.

  3. Click Submit. The Report Output section shows the progress of the report. When the report is ready, click Reach SVHC.
