Creating Material Declarations for Unreported Parts

You can use the unreported parts report or the supplier report to generate a Material Declaration.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Author
  • App-specific: Compliance Engineer

Before you begin: Perform one of these tasks:
  1. Click Actions > Create Material Declarations for Unreported Parts.
  2. Enter these details:

    Field Name Description
    Due Date Click to specify the due date.
    Requestor Comments Enter any comments for the supplier.
    IMDS: only shows if the ELV Data Management option is used.
    Create IMDS Request Select the check box to specify whether a corresponding IMDS Request should be created in IMDS for the Material Declaration.
    IMDS Request Type Choose Component or Semicomponent.
    IMDS Project Enter the project name.

  3. Click Done.
