Generating the Unreported Parts Report

The Unreported Parts Report examines an enterprise BOM to find and display any unreported parts in the BOM including unreported enterprise parts and unreported equivalent MEPs.

An unreported enterprise part is a part that has no MEP equivalents and has no component parts or materials associated with it. An unreported MEP is an MEP that has never been reported through an accepted Material Declaration from the supplier.

In addition to displaying the unreported parts, the report includes an action which can be used by a compliance engineer to automatically create requested Material Declarations for unreported MEPs with reporting instructions.
