You can use Model Assembly Design to manage the relations between External Simulation Representations.

  1. To check the relations between External Simulation Representations, select from the External Modeling section of the action bar.
Highlighting differentiates between products and parts with External Simulation Representations and products and parts without External Simulation Representations.
  2. Create External Simulation Representations where required.
  3. To update the relations between External Simulation Representations, select from the External Modeling section of the action bar.
Out-of-date External Simulation Representations are highlighted with a red background. Current External Simulation Representations are highlighted with a green background.
  4. Toggle the box in the Edit column to update the External Simulation Representations.
  5. Click Apply.
The External Simulation Representations are highlighted to indicate that they are current.
  6. To show the impact on External Simulation Representations, select from the External Modeling section of the action bar.
