FEM reports include basic details for the generated meshes in the finite element model. They include:
- Mesh: number of parts, number of meshed parts, parts that failed to mesh (if any), empty
FEMs, and the percentage of undesirable elements such as triangle elements in a
tetrahedron mesh.
- Connectivities: total number of nodes and elements and the connectivity types that exist
in the elements.
- Connections: number and type of connections between meshes when multiple parts are
meshes and connected.
- Criteria: quality criteria, including aspect ratio, maximal angle, minimal angle, and
stretch and ratings (good, poor, bad, worst) along with an average for each criterion.
