About Manufacturing BOM Management
Manufacturing BOM Management provides the ability to define, change and view plant-specific manufacturing bills of materials using engineering bills of materials, defined and released from Engineering BOM Management, as input.
Engineering BOM Management is a prerequisite of Manufacturing BOM Management. You should become familiar
with Engineering BOM Management and the required shared
component automatically installed with it.
Published
examples in this document, including but not limited to scripts, programs, and
related items, are intended to provide some assistance to customers by example.
They are for demonstration purposes only. It does not imply an obligation to
provide examples for every published platform, or for every potential
permutation of platforms/products/versions/etc.
Business Roles
You can use roles to determine who can perform specified tasks in
Manufacturing BOM Management. Any of these users can also be an Exchange User, which is the
role assigned to people who use
Collaboration and Approvals
for access to workspaces, folders, and teams.
This table lists the default roles in Manufacturing BOM Management and the responsibilities of users assigned to them.
Additional roles can be added.
Business Role | Description |
