Configuring Non-Production Days

Manufacturing BOM Management has tools that allow an organization manager to maintain a list of non-production days for each plant.

Validation of non-production days is done if the property file parameter emxMBOM.MBOM.AllowHolidayCheck is set to true. The system uses these non-production days for:

  • validating MCO start dates (a non-production day cannot be set as an MCO start date)
  • calculating MCO start offset (a date can be set as an MCO start date only if it falls after a preset number of valid production days from today)
  • calculating MCO end offset (end date of an MBOM record or part revision is calculated as the end of the valid production day falling just before the start date of the effecting out MCO minus a preset end date offset time, typically in seconds, which is set as per ERP requirements)
