A change order (MCO) is required to release any manufacturing change for a given plant. When the MBOM is generated, one MCO is also automatically generated for each associated plant, and connected to the end item part and also to the associated manufacturing responsibility change order. Implementing the MCO makes the MBOM current. For MCOs that are auto-generated as part of BOM synchronization, start dates must be in incremental order. For example, MCO-0001 start date < MCO-0002 start date < MCO-0003 start date. Local MCOs that are not auto-generated can be released in any order. An EBOM delta change represents the difference between two BOM revisions. BOM revisions can have the following delta changes:
MBOM delta calculation uses the compare criteria (Matched Based On) defined in the property key emxEngineeringCentral.EBOMUniqueness. emxEngineeringCentral.EBOMUniqueness=attribute_FindNumber|attribute_ReferenceDesignator The modified components are identified if there are changes to the BOM attributes defined in the property key emxMBOM.MBOM.EBOMAttributesToCopy. Any change in value of any of these attributes will generate a new sequence MBOM connection emxMBOM.MBOM.EBOMAttributesToCopy=attribute_ComponentLocation|attribute_FindNumber|attribute_ReferenceDesignator|attribute_Usage|attribute_Quantity |
