The Align Nodes dialog box appears.
  2. Select a mode.
    OptionDescription
Automatic Choose a starting node. As you move the pointer from the selected starting node toward the end node, the nodes that will be aligned between them are highlighted. When you select the end node, the highlighted nodes are moved into a straight line.
ManualChoose the nodes to align. After selecting the last node, click Align nodes to align all intermediate nodes with the first and last ones that you selected.
  3. Choose Keep nodes on support to prevent nodes from aligning to a position above or below the support surface.

This is helpful if the support is slightly curved and the alignment must follow the curvature.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • Click OK to save the new node positions and to end the node alignment procedure.
    • Click Cancel to cancel node alignments and to end the procedure.
