About X-Y Plots
  1. Do one of the following:
    • From the tabbed page of the Feature Manager, right-click an X-Y plot and select Export.
    • Load the X-Y plot into the X-Y Plots Viewer, then right-click the individual curve you want to export and select Export.
    The Export Values editor appears.
  2. If you launched the editor from the Feature Manager, specify the curve that you want to export.
  3. Optional: If desired, you can also customize the name of the document you produce. By default, the file you create will inherit the name of the exported curve.
  4. Specify the format in which you want to export the data:
    • CSV (Comma separated value) (.csv)
    • Excel Workbook (.xlsx)
    • Excel 97-2003 Workbook (.xls)
  5. Click OK.
The first time you export a curve's data, Microsoft Excel opens and displays your selected data in tabular format. If you try to export the same curve's data again, the export process prompts you to overwrite the previously exported file or to reload the file. Click Update to overwrite the older object, or click Retrieve to load the previously created file in the X–Y Plot Viewer.

The exported object is saved with the simulation object. All exported documents are displayed under the Result container when you explore a simulation object.
