Requirements Manager Panel

The Requirements Manager panel enables you to work with individual requirement specifications, or with a requirement. It provides appropriate commands to manage the selected object.

From the Requirement Browser panel, click Requirements Manager to display the Requirements Manager panel.

Context Menu Commands

You can right-click in the Requirements Manager panel to access the following commands:

Command Description
Hide Column Hides a column in the Requirements Manager.
Customize Attributes Show or hides attributes in the Requirements Manager.
Filter Column Filters rows displayed in the Requirements Manager using attribute values.
Clear All Filters Clears all filters applied in the Requirements Manager.

Global Specification Link Manager

The Global Specification link is a relation between a manufactured object (item, system, operation, work instruction) and a requirement specification. The constituent objects within the scope defined by the link must comply with the requirements.

When you select a requirement specification, the Requirements Manager panel changed for the Global Specification Link Manager panel. This panel enables you to manage Global Specification links with PPR objects.

Add a New Global Specification Link
You can create Global Specification links between requirement specifications and PPR objects in the PPR tree using the Add a New Global Specification Link command. This command is available only in the context menu on each root requirement. After the creation of the Global Specification link, a star icon is displayed on the root requirement.
Remove a Global Specification Link
You can remove the existing Global Specification links between requirement specifications and PPR objects using the Remove a Global Specification Link command.

Requirement Link Manager

When you select a requirement, the Requirements Manager panel changed for the Requirement Link Manager panel. This panel enables you to manage links between requirements and planning objects.

Add a New Requirement Link
You can create links between requirements and PPR objects in the PPR tree using the Add a New Requirement Link command.
Remove a Requirement Link
You can remove the existing links between requirements and PPR objects using the Remove a Requirement Link command

With the Manage Requirement Usages option, the Requirement Link Manager panel enables you to manage quickly the links between requirements and PPR objects with various usages.

Additional combination is available in the Requirement Link Manager panel to specify the usage while creating links between requirements and PPR objects.
